After missing week four to injury, wide receiver Chase Claypool returned to the field this past Sunday for the Pittsburgh Steelers' game against the Denver Broncos. Coming off a week of recovery, Claypool returned to form and proved to be a reliable receiver for Ben Roethlisberger.
Claypool connected with Roethlisberger on five of six targets and recorded a career-high 130 receiving yards. Included in these targets was a 59-yard reception that took the Steelers deep into Bronco's territory and an 18-yard touchdown catch that gave the steelers a 24-6 lead. Claypool should continue to produce this Sunday against the Chicago Bears if he can make his way back to 100% and stay healthy as the Steelers head deeper into the season.
